We're two!

Today was the girls' second birthday party! Friends and family came together for a fun celebration and, of course, cake! Here are a few pictures. Unfortunately, our camera was not working so all we have is what Uncle Joey took.

One day I will tell you about how you used to bring me every single one of your crayons, of which there are a couple hundred I think, and insist that I 'open' them. I have no idea where you got the idea that the paper is supposed to come off the crayons entirely before you use them, but right now the floor is littered with paper bits and you spend more time peeling the paper off, or begging me to do it, than you actually spend coloring. But hey, if it makes you happy...

It's all about the hat

These are pictures of the girls from last year wearing hats knitted for them by an incredibly kind, generous friend. Unfortunately, I am more of the sucky friend variety because I forgot to post this pictures and share my gratitude. So, better late than never, right??
